The University of Chicago Press has signed The Charlesworth Group as its main agent for online and print marketing in mainland China
The University of Chicago Press is the largest university press in the USA The three year agreement with The Charlesworth Group represents a renewable relationship that combines a comprehensive marketing plan; online, print, and low-cost print agreements with consortia, national buying agencies, and individual academic institutions; and on the ground local expertise with US based management and support in order to expand the exposure and sale of Chicago Journals' wide collection of Science, Technology, Medicine, and Arts and Humanities titles in China

In September 2007, Jeralynn Lee, circulation, sales, and development manager, Chicago Journals, accompanied Charlesworth on its annual Publishers' Tour of Beijing and Shanghai, receiving a guided view of the Chinese scholarly publishing market and unique access to high level government officials, librarians, and academics.
Charlesworth will also provide targeted subscription marketing, translated promotional materials, and local support for libraries in the partnership with Chicago Journals.
