Howard Hunt Group, the UK independent print and direct mail company, has managed a DM campaign for Cancer Research UK.

Howard Hunt Group, the UK independent print and direct mail company, has managed a DM campaign for Cancer Research UK The national charity yesterday announced that as a direct result of the campaign it has achieved its one millionth committed giver

The team at Howard Hunt Group worked closely with Cancer Research UK to manage the process from initial receipt of the data through to print, personalisation and enclosing said the company.

Using its in-house equipment the group produced 12 million personalised walksort packs and seven million door drop packs to target consumers nationwide.

Howard Hunt Group has recently invested GBP 4 million in a new 16-page, six-colour Mitsubishi web press, which has enabled the company to increase its capacity.

Anthony Newman, the direct marketing director at Cancer Research UK said: "This project marks a change in strategy for us and it is clear from the initial results that personalised packs make a bigger impact.

We are once again delighted with the way that Howard Hunt Group has managed and implemented this complex campaign.

Timing was critical because it dovetailed with above the line activity so we had no margin for error.
