Howard Hunt Group, has just produced what it claimed to be one of the UK's most advanced and sophisticated direct mail pieces.
Howard Hunt Group involved its research and development team to design a specialist product for the Conservatives to kick off their election bid.
The six-age document with a die cut window, sealed flap and rounded corners was created to tie in to the party's national advertising campaign, whilst allowing each individual candidate to personally appeal to their constituency.
Each party candidate was able to drop a full colour picture, contact details and bullet points stating their proposals in to the leaflets delivered to their constituency.
That was made possible because of Howard Hunt Group's recent GBP 4 million investment in to its fourth 16pp six-colour Mitsubishi web press.
The new web has such quick make ready times that multiple four-colour plate changes are no problem on smaller runs, said the company.
Hunt's coordinated the campaign, liaising directly with each Conservative candidate to obtain their details and to organise the delivery of approximately 20,000 leaflets to each constituency.
Prior to printing, the company was required to obtain proof approvals from both the individual candidate and Conservative campaign headquarters.
Luke Pigott, a director of Howard Hunt, said: "The successful delivery of this large-scale, complex campaign is an excellent reflection of the capabilities of our industry leading technology and the end-to-end system that Howard Hunt Group offers.
We have the in-house capacity to project manage direct communication activity from start to finish ensuring timely, efficient and relevant communication for our clients.".
