A Howard Hunt Group product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Sep 15, 2006

Howard Hunt Group is the first UK print and mail company to install the Kodak Nexpress 2500 digital press.

Howard Hunt Group is the first UK print and mail company to install the Kodak Nexpress 2500 digital press.

With the digital printing technology, Howard Hunt Group said it believes it will lead the way in data lead digital print services, and it is equipped to take the personalisation of direct mail to a new level.

It said it will achieve that by enabling clients to further utilise data analysis and print personalisation to achieve highly detailed and personalised direct mail content.

The Kodak Nexpress is said to have the capabilities to make it possible for clients to use the power of digital print to personalise every aspect of each piece of direct mail that is sent out from text content through to page design and imagery.

Lucy Edwards, marketing director at Howard Hunt Group, commented: "The concept of one-to-one marketing is still largely regarded an aspiration rather than a tangible reality.

But the Nexpress 2500 enables us to make this a reality for our clients." She added: "Our decision to increase the portfolio of services we offer clients is based on the capabilities of digital presses that are now on the market, and our confidence in the tools that exist.

They will allow us to provide this technology to our clients and to achieved their personalisation aspirations within their budgetary requirements." The purchase of the 2500 forms the first phase of Howard Hunt Group's digital investment plan.

In addition to the Nexpress 2500, the recently launched Kodak Nexpress 2100 Plus press with upgrade has also been purchased.

The model with the upgrade provides performance levels on a par with the 2500.

Both models enable modularity and flexibility and are 18 per cent faster than a standard Nexpress 2100, added the company.
