Global anilox roll supplier, Harper Corporation, has appointed Russell Carrington as its Midwest technical account manager.

Global anilox roll supplier, Harper Corporation, has appointed Russell Carrington as its Midwest technical account manager.

Carrington and his support team will be responsible for Harper Corporation's wide web sales and customer satisfaction throughout the central region of the United States, including North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana.

He has worked in the flexo industry for all his career and for the past 13 years he worked with a flexographic printer in the Midwest.

Starting in pre-press, he worked his way through the pressroom, operating most of the equipment, including a 10-color combination press.

He later became the company's maintenance director and four years later, became the director of research and development, testing and designing new products.

Harper said that his deep understanding and hands-on experience will be a genuine benefit to the company's customers and the Harper team.

Carrington said: "Printing has been in my family for almost three generations now.

I love this business and I'm excited to be on board with the very talented group at Harper." Carrington will be based in Kansas City, Missouri.
