Harper Scientific, the printing and coating supplies division of global anilox supplier Harper Corporation has introduced the Promag magnet with bracket.

The one-inch diameter grade 35 neodymium rare earth magnet is designed to hang on the inside of any size ink pail or bucket.

Tony Donato, technical sales solutions manager at Harper Scientific, said: "Printers often change doctor blades and don't think about where the metal that wears off the blades goes.

Unfortunately, it goes in to the ink.

The minimal investment in a good quality magnet to capture the metal before it circulates back to the anilox and damages the roll can save thousands of dollars in anilox roll replacement.

Now it's even easier to use one of the strongest magnets available to protect anilox rolls.

What could be simpler than hanging the magnet on the inside of the ink pail?" The PMBK Promag magnetic will hang on almost any size pail or bucket without the need for tools, said Harper.

It is constructed of all stainless steel components and is easy to clean and maintain.
