Anilox roll supplier Harper Corporation's Harper Scientific division has developed an automated proofing system called the Sharper Color Proofer System.
He has previously worked in various manufacturing positions, including four years as a Harper Graphic Solutions technician, three years as the Charlotte plant's second-shift supervisor, and for the past three and a half years as Harper Corporation's customer service manager.
"Lee brings a well-rounded knowledge of both manufacturing and customer service to the position, as he's worked extensively in both areas," said Ron Harper, Harper's chief executive officer.
"His combined talents and experience are unique, so he will be able to offer us new insights.
In addition, he knows our customers extremely well, and understands their high quality requirements," he added.
Klutz commented: "Dealing with customers on a daily basis gives you a better understanding of their needs and perspectives, and I am looking forward to applying that understanding to my new position.".
