Labelexpo Sees Harper's Digital Transfer Anilox

Harper Corporation of America will mark its 35th anniversary at Labelexpo in Chicago in September by showcasing its new Platinum XLT digital transfer technology.

Harper Corporation of America will mark its 35th anniversary at Labelexpo in Chicago in September by showcasing its new Platinum XLT digital transfer technology.

The Harper stand - 401 - at Labelexpo - will provide the opportunity to see Harper's XLT anilox rolls in action, as well as on the stands of several press manufacturers also at the show.

Harper Scientific, Harper's printing and coating supplies division, will also exhibit its new products, including PEC (Performance Enhancing Cylinder), a patent-pending plate cylinder coating for narrow web presses that is said to absorb vibration.

Harper Scientific will also introduce its Re-Leez, a new on-press anilox cleaner for water-based ink.

Tony Donato, Harper Scientific's technical sales solutions manager, commented: "The PEC special surface coating combats the printing problems that are inherit to most geared presses.

In addition, it improves plate life and long-run consistency even on the new gearless presses." Labelexpo visitors will also have the opportunity to win a 2006 Harley Davidson XL1200C Sportster motorcycle, courtesy of nine contest sponsors, including Harper Corporation.

The winner of the Harley Davidson will be announced at the show.
