Jennifer Jackson, Harper Corporation's sales administrative assistant is the latest recipient of the company's 'president's going the extra mile award.

Jennifer Jackson, Harper Corporation's sales administrative assistant is the latest recipient of the company's 'president's going the extra mile award.

The award was created to recognise Harper's people who consistently go above and beyond the call of duty by company founders Ron and Katherine Harper.

Pete Hartman, vice president of sales at Harper Corporation, said: "Jennifer worked so hard this year to help ensure that the Solutions Tour was a big success.

She met every request cheerfully and stayed on top of the details to be sure things came together as they should.

She has the kind of can-do attitude that makes a difference.

We're very lucky to have her." Jackson was nominated for the award for contributions to the Solutions Tour, but she has fans throughout the Harper organisation, added the company.

Margaret Harper Kluttz, Harper Corporation's president, commented: "Anytime I have asked Jennifer to do something regarding marketing, assisting trade groups, or just picking up supplies to restock, she does so.

She's reliable and earnest.

We really appreciate her." Winners of the award receive a medallion and a gift certificate, in addition to the engraving of their names on four plaques, one of which is displayed at each of the Harper locations - the corporate office, the Charlotte manufacturing facility, Harper's Green Bay office and its Green Bay manufacturing facility.

All employees are eligible to nominate a colleague or be nominated by a colleague for the award.
