Ipex Sees Pressroom Chemicals That Reduce VOCs

Hydro-Dynamic Products (HDP) will be at Ipex to showcase its range of greener pressroom products at a time when the company's export sales have soared to record levels.

HDP said it will use Ipex to demonstrate the availability of greener alternatives to almost every traditional pressroom consumable.

They include products that can reduce atmosphere-polluting VOC emissions by cutting back on the industry's reliance on isopropyl alcohol (IPA).

On show on Stand 4E-55 will be the company's growing Enviro range, which includes blanket and roller washes, roller and plate cleaners and ink strippers guaranteed to be less harmful to the environment and all meeting the demands of European legislation.

All the products are supplied with technical environmental data sheets explaining current legislative requirements and the environmental benefit of each product.

HDP will be underlining its environmental commitment by sponsoring the BPIF's environmental excellence award to be announced during the exhibition.

And the company will also be setting up and manning an Emergency Spill Unit as a service to exhibitors.

HDP has established a growing global network of manufacturing and trading partners distributing its products in 80 countries.

Around 27 per cent of company profit now stems from overseas business as environmental awareness grows and the demand for greener manufacturing processes becomes more urgent.
