Hydro-Dynamic Products has added Blanket Conditioning Formula, a deep cleaning conditioner, to its Enviro range of pressroom chemicals.

Hydro-Dynamic Products has added Blanket Conditioning Formula, a deep cleaning conditioner, to its Enviro range of pressroom chemicals The advantage of the new product is claimed to be that its flashpoint is in excess of 60 degrees C, a temperature at which less potentially harmful vapour is produced

That is said to reduce the amount of VOCs being released in to the atmosphere.

According to Hydro-Dynamic Products, automatic washes for blankets have traditionally used highly flammable, fast evaporating but environmentally unfriendly 40 degrees C solvents.

High flashpoint Blanket Conditioning Formula is, therefore, claimed to be suitable for companies that care about the environment and want to control their emissions by reducing the amount of volatile solvents they use.

As well as having a low environmental impact, Blanket Conditioning Formula is a low odour product so it is pleasant to work with and yet is very effective and easy to use, according to the company.

The blanket conditioner is supplied with a technical environmental data sheet explaining current legislative requirements and the environmental benefits of the product.
