Consumables provider, Hydro-Dynamic Products, has added a newly developed range of replacement inking, dampening, pan and metering rollers to its expanding portfolio of products.

Consumables provider, Hydro-Dynamic Products, has added a newly developed range of replacement inking, dampening, pan and metering rollers to its expanding portfolio of products Designed to withstand the increasing demands of modern presses, the new inking and dampening rollers come individually packaged, are ready-to-use with bearings fitted and colour coded to suit specific presses, said Hydro-Dyanmic Products (HDP)

The pan and metering rollers are complete with internal fittings.

Installation is claimed to be straight forward because the old roller can be removed and discarded before the HDP roller is fitted.

Roger Markin, HDP's sales director, said: "We don't believe it makes sense to economise by re-using bearings and internal fittings and sending rollers away to be re-surfaced.

Ensuring rollers are always in top condition is extremely important if print quality is to be consistent but, however well rollers are maintained, they have a finite life.

We believe fitting new ones when the time comes is an economically sound decision." HDP believes that the quality of the new rollers helps keep wear to a minimum.

That ensures they have a long service life and need less frequent replacement.

The range includes replacement rollers for presses from all major manufacturers.
