FOGRA approved solvents and other FOGRA approved consumables are claimed to be achieving significant sales for Hydro-Dynamic Products in the Far East.

Hydro-Dynamic Products (HDP) said that the sales are a result of Far Eastern printers adopting the advantages of using approved chemicals to overcome the potential cost of damage to high speed presses and also in acknowledgement of environmental concerns In particular, the company said that its range of FOGRA approved solvents are becoming widely used in Indonesia because each formulation's complies with health and safety guidelines for flammability and environmental considerations, as well as having the corrosion inhibitors demanded by press manufacturers

HDP added that it produces solvents and fount solutions which are FOGRA approved and certified acceptable by Heidelberg, MAN-Roland, Koenig and Bauer-Planeta for use on their ranges of presses.

The company's managing director, David Sheard, said: "The growing worldwide success achieved by our products is a graphic illustration of a new awareness in the overseas print industry.

The Far East is the latest area to join our global network of agents, distributors and licensed manufacturing partners supplying our products in more than 80 countries." Almost a third of HDP's profits are generated from overseas business as the company moves towards its aim of being represented in every industrial nation in the world, it added.
