Infotec has direct solvent ink configured printer

An Info-Tec Distribution product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Oct 30, 2008

Infotec Distribution is launching the Kimoto Freejet 320 direct solvent ink configured printer.

The Kimoto Freejet 320 direct solvent ink was developed to allow users to print on practically anything without having to pre-coat.

The direct solvent components were originally changed to work mainly on different plastic substrates such as: PVC, ABS and similar materials, some other substrates may still need to be pre-coated.

It is still possible to buy either an eco-solvent configuration or a direct solvent configuration printer.

The direct solvent inks require no pre-coat, whereas, the less expensive eco-solvent inks still require substrates to be pre-coated.

The Freejet 320 does not requires RIP software, it can print materials up to 120mm thick with a resolution of 5760dpi with a minimal drop size of 1.5pl.

It is ideal for personalising many promotional items including golf balls, rulers, pens, badges and so on.
