Ipex 2006 organiser IIR Exhibitions has responded to industry comments and launched two new themed initiatives for the 2006 show - the MIS (management information systems) Zone and the Paper Zone.

Ipex 2006 organiser IIR Exhibtions has responded to industry comments and launched two new themed initiatives for the 2006 show - the MIS (management information systems) Zone and the Paper Zone.

By grouping major players together in those sectors we can help visitors by making their products searches more convenient.

According to IIR management information systems have burst in to the mainstream and industry professionals now rely on MIS to transform workflow, cost control, customer relationship management and even the sales process.

The MIS Zone will be located at the entrance to Hall 20 at the UK's NEC near Birmingham and it will occupy an 1,000 square metres.

Suppliers in the sector that have already signed up to the zone include Shuttleworth, DiMS! Organising Print, Imprint Business Systems, Tharstern and Prism Europe.

As far as the Paper Zone is concerned, show exhibitors requested it and the show's advisory committee recommended it and now the Paper Zone will also be located in Hall 20.

Dedicated product trails for both Zones, available in hard copy and online, will help direct buyers to the stands in each zone added IIR.
