Dedicated sector and regions days focus attention
Because the scope of Ipex 2006 is enormous, show organiser, IIR Exhibitions, has structured the exhibition in to industry sectors.
Exhibitors such as Xerox, Hewlett Packard, Goss and Print City will be participating in the Inward Mission to demonstrate products and technologies in advance of next year's show.
In addition, industry trends and issues will be highlighted along with Ipex news and previews, all complementing the innovation theme that will form the backbone of Ipex 2006.
Ipex is currently working with other exhibitors who will be providing essential pre-show information during the event.
The content of this year's Inward Mission has been completely re-designed following feedback gathered from international journalists and exhibitors present at previous events.
IIR believes that will ensure that the visit will be of increased benefit to exhibitors and journalists alike.
David Millican, head of communications for Xerox UK said: "We have participated in Inward Missions in the past and have found them an invaluable event in which to get our message across to the key media.
We find that if we release all of our product news at a trade event it gets swallowed up in the mass of information that is generated at these shows.
We can then use the show as a follow up to reinforce our message.
We find the penetration that way is much more effective." Sarah Harvey, the marketing director of Ipex 2006, said: "The shear volume of press that has already confirmed its attendance at the Inward Mission serves as a reminder of just how important Ipex is on a global scale.
In holding the Inward Mission we are able to further support our exhibitors in targeting the media with their key messages as well as providing the press with an insight in to what Ipex 2006 has in store.
The event is a great opportunity for both exhibitors and press alike and will be great fun all round." Ipex 2006 is taking place on April 4-11 2006 at the NEC in Birmingham (UK).
