Ipex 2010 exhibition preparations begin
IIR Exhibitions has met with the Ipex Advisory Committee (IAC) to discuss new ideas for the next Ipex exhibition, which will be held from May 18 - May 25 2010.
Overseas visitors are welcome throughout the eight days of the exhibition, but the International Days enable their needs to be better catered for.
Through the country-specific days, overseas visitors can be more focused and time-efficient at the show - and exhibitors can better manage international resources and information on their stands.
For example, exhibitors can maximise their investment in Ipex 2006 by planning for native speakers and sales teams to be present on their stands, and relevant literature to be available.

Dedicated sector and regions days focus attention
Because the scope of Ipex 2006 is enormous, show organiser, IIR Exhibitions, has structured the exhibition in to industry sectors.
The International Days will include a welcome reception, briefings on topics of particular interest for each specific country to be held in the Innovation Theatre, and networking events for dealers and distributors.
An exclusive International Lounge will offer any overseas visitor an area to relax, work and network.
Similar to an airport business lounge, the room will feature IT equipment, business services including translation facilities, TV screens for international news and a bar area, providing overseas guests with all they need.
Bespoke services will be offered to pre-organised buyer trips from overseas, including travel and accommodation packages, translator services, welcome reception and tours around some of the local attractions.
Trevor Crawford, exhibition director, said: "We are expecting to see the highest number of international visitors in the exhibition's history and we are working to make them feel especially welcome, particularly as some of them will be travelling from the other side of the world to come to Birmingham".
"We have developed a whole range of initiatives specifically designed to link the visitors with the exhibitors of importance to them and to update them with the industry's latest developments".
"It is our overall objective to ensure the visiting community is well catered for and that they all remember Ipex 2006 as a key networking event".
Ipex 2006 is taking place on 4-11 April 2006 at the NEC in Birmingham and is set to be the number-one global printing show of the year.
