Ipex 2010 exhibition preparations begin
IIR Exhibitions has met with the Ipex Advisory Committee (IAC) to discuss new ideas for the next Ipex exhibition, which will be held from May 18 - May 25 2010.
HP, Canon and Kodak will all also have wide-format products elsewhere on the show floor.
Whilst growth in wide-format exhibitor numbers at the show reflects the overall growth in the sector, it also highlights the importance of Ipex as the number one global graphic arts and publishing exhibition in 2006, said show organiser IIR Exhibitions.
This year, Ipex will be the world's biggest exhibition for the printing and graphic arts industries.
Louisa Theobald, Ipex's sales director, commented: "The demand for large format print has grown as the technology to produce it is now highly cost-effective, flexible, easy to use and delivers stunning quality.
We expect there to be much interest in wide-format from a broad spectrum of visitors to Ipex as it becomes a serious option for mainstream commercial printers." She added that large format is one of the most exciting sectors in the digital print market with some interesting applications and further developments expected for proofing and display.
Trail finder guides are being produced for wide format inkjet printing, to give visitors to Ipex a sector specific route map around the exhibition and to make their visit as effective as possible.
