The modular design of the Imaje 2000 series of print and apply systems has impressed a jury of international experts Not only did the Imaje 2000 win the Red Dot Award in 2005 for its design and easy installation, operation and maintenance, but additionally, in 2006, the 2000 series has been awarded the IF Product Design Award for outstanding design, product usability and functionality

With a history of over 50 years, the IF Design Award is one of the biggest awards of its kind in the world.

More than 1,100 contestants from over 30 nations compete every year for what is now considered to be one of the world's key design competitions.

The Imaje 2000 series of print and apply systems are claimed to handle any type of labelling application by swapping component options.

The Imaje print engine can accommodate interchangeable print heads.

Commenting on the benefits of the new fully integrated system, Imaje UK's operations manager, Steve Ellison, said: "The modular design of the Imaje 2000 series ensures that it is easy to adapt to a customer's changing production requirements.

One system with a choice of printheads and label applicator modules will enable customers to mix and match to meet a variety of labelling demands.".
