Intelicoat's stripe coating technique has been developed in-house as a reliable and effective way of laying down lacquer coatings in distinct lanes onto paper and polyester bases.
The POS-PRO and SBL7 project has been managed through the close cooperation between Amsterdam-based Magic sales and marketing manager Menno Bos and Dirk Peereboom, the business development manager at North Wales.
Combining market knowledge from Europe, ink-receptive know-how from the USA and adhesives and materials expertise from the UK, POS-PRO's evolution has been a truly international affair, said InteliCoat.
Both POS-PRO and SBL7 have a similar ink-receptive front print coating, providing a bright white anti-glare printing surface and water-resistant coating with maximum ink density to ensure vivid colours and image resolution, said the company.
POS-PRO has a front illumination effect, blocks out false backlight and is claimed to be significantly cheaper than competing products.
