Coatings Company's New CEO Aims For Growth

Joe Lupone has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Intelicoat, a manufacturer of coated papers, films and speciality substrates.

Joe Lupone has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Intelicoat, a manufacturer of coated papers, films and speciality substrates.

Intelicoat specialises in coating, laminating and finishing of flexible materials.

In addition to developing and marketing a full range of branded media products, Intelicoat also serves as a worldwide supplier of optical films, microfilm, medical components, conductive films, inkjet receptive and phototool products, as well as electronically engineered films to international markets.

Intelicoat is an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, a private investment firm focused on buyouts, equity, debt and other investments in market-leading companies.

I look forward to the challenge and to working with our executive team, employees and customers." With a background in senior executive sales and marketing roles, Lupone served as president of Reflexite Display Optics, a manufacturer of optical films to the LCD flat panel display industry.

Prior to Reflexite, he served in executive sales and marketing positions from 1985 to 2001 with The Allen-Bradley Company and its successor, Rockwell Automation, where he was managing director for the UK, Ireland and the Middle East.
