With an addition to its line up of flatbed inkjet printers Inca Digital Printers has launched its Spyder 150 60"x40" printer.
"Inca's modular design philosophy allows users to exchange printheads if they become damaged during use.
Our new clean room means that we can efficiently recondition those printheads and make them available for re-use, which significantly reduces cost of ownership to customers compared to purchasing new heads," said Bob Wade, director of manufacturing at Inca.
The company added that it has invested £500,000 in building the new clean room, which is within the research and development building and part of Inca's continuing investment in design, manufacturing and assembly facilities at its Cambridge (UK) factory.
