The modular design of the Spyder 320 range allows users to select the specification of their Inca Spyder printer to suit their business needs or growth plans.
The latest edition, the Spyder 320-8 Series, is claimed to add more flexibility.
The Spyder 320-8 Series was developed to provide printers greater choice of ink colours, as well as being able to match more special colours-along with white.
With eight ink modules, each consisting of four Spectra inkjet heads, the Spyder 320-8 Series provides a wide colour gamut, claied Inca.
Initially, the printer will be available with the four process colour inks (CMYK), as well as light cyan, light magenta, and two units of white (overprint, underprint, or spot colour layers), to ensure maximum ink coverage and print speed.
Unlike some white inks Fujifilm Sericol Uvijet white ink is claimed to be bright white with opacity and adhesion.
Aimed at the mid-range market and competitively priced, Inca added that the Spyder 320-8 Series has a small Spyder footprint, moving print carriage and a full-size 126-inch x 63-inch static vacuum bed with pin registration, sharp image resolution and crisp text.
Its claimed productivity rate, printing at up to 860 square feet per hour, also provides production performance at 699 square feet per hour.
Heather Kendle, director of marketing at Inca Digital, said: "We have received a tremendous response, in particular to our Spyder 320+ white printers.
Many companies have immediately found a variety of uses for white ink coverage along with CMYK, such as two-sided acrylic signs.
The Inca Spyder has demonstrated its outstanding registration, easy file set-up with the Wasatch RIP and exceptional ink opacity.
However, many companies have been coveting a white model that can also print six colours with an extended colour range.
The Spyder 320-8 Series delivers on that promise." Alongside the Inca Spyder, Inca Digital and Fujifilm Sericol will showcase the Inca Columbia Turbo at ISA International Sign Expo.
First launched in 2004 and claimed By Inca to still be the world's fastest digital UV flatbed printer, the Columbia Turbo prints on to rigid or flexible material up to 1.57" thick and 126" x 63" in size, producing repeatable results at speeds up to 1,720 square feet per hour.
The company added that its economical performance makes it suitable for a range of applications, including large format advertising, signage and exhibition graphics printing.
The Columbia Turbo and Spyder 320 use Fujifilm Sericol Uvijet inks that provide an wide gamut using automotive grade pigments with the highest light fastness rating to ensure print longevity.
The Uvijet ink system is designed to print on to almost anything from paper to board to a wide range of plastics using Inca technology to control droplet formation and accuracy, said the company.
With a range of applications covered between the Inca Spyder 320-8 Series and Columbia Turbo, visitors to the Fujifilm Sericol stand at ISA International Sign Expo will be able to view systems capable of printing sign, display and exhibition materials.
