Direct Marketing Show To Major On Digital Print
Digital print will be a key focus of The International Direct Marketing Fair (IDMF) 2005, as the event launches its first-ever digital print pavillion.
Exhibitors from 10 countries have booked stands at the show from Europe, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Canada, and the United States, for example.
The organiser added that globalisation is evident in the product launches too, with exhibitors launching products or services in the mailing, and fulfilment sectors.
Launched for the first time in 2005, in conjunction with the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF), the digital print pavilion will enable visitors to learn all about variable print, the development that is generating response rates of up to 40 per cent with significantly reduced waste claimed Reed.
The pavilion will comprise a 40-seat seminar theatre presenting six free seminars each day, ranging from the informative - the role that digital print has in direct marketing; to the technical - digital collateral system case study and the ingenious - how to use your office printer to make everything from luggage labels to loyalty cards.
Alongside the seminar theatre, a surrounding exhibition will show products and services in digital print.
