New Wax Enables Easy Print Work Movement

An Interflon product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Jul 18, 2007

Interflon's Slide Wax is claimed to be a clean and silicone-free lubricant for the lubrication of cutting tables and the sliding surfaces of printing equipment.

The company claimed that the product, which is available in a 500ml aerosol, has been engineered to out-perform silicon sprays in cleanliness, lubrication and re-lubrication intervals and cost.

Interflon said that Slide Wax is formulated with Teflon and other resins for lubricity, adhesion, toughness and low-friction.

As a result, it sets up a clean, non-greasy lubrication film that offers longer lasting lubrication and enables paper and print work to be moved with less resistance and force.

At the same time, it is claimed that Slide Wax does not stain, or drip.

It clings to the surface of cutting tables and vertical ways to eliminate stick-slip and resists wash-off, dirt, dust and other abrasives to protect from scoring under heavy loads.
