Pro C900AFP ideal for transpromotional activities

Infoprint Solutions has introduced the Pro C900AFP, the latest addition to its high-speed digital colour cutsheet portfolio for the production and mid-market sectors.

The advanced function presentation (AFP) version of the Pro C900 range is said to be suitable for users changing from monochrome to colour print.

Infoprint added that it is also ideal for those looking to introduce transpromotional material - the combination of personalised data and information on transactional documents such as statements and invoices.

In addition, the system is aimed at users in data centres, service bureaux and direct mailer operations, especially those customers currently using AFP.

The Pro C900AFP and its Infoprint-developed AFP print controller are claimed to provide reliability, integrity and productivity.

AFP allows the presentation of pages containing a mixture of different data types.

Customers using applications developed using FS45 colour support, as well as those implementing new applications that use the Colour Management Object Content Architecture can use the Pro C900AFP to print their output.

Additionally, by using the Infoprint 5000 emulation profile, high-volume customers using this continuous form colour printer can utilise Infoprint's Pro C900AFP for short runs, application development and reprints, the company said.

High-capacity input and output options and the ability to load toner on-the-fly enable long, unattended print runs, Infoprint added.
