Jeco Plastic Products, the designer and manufacturer of plastic pallets and containers, will introduce its new line of Precision pallets at Ipex 2006 in Birmingham (UK) during April The new line of Precision pallets will be shown on the Jeco Plastic Products stand - stand 7-B35, hall 7 - and will be in use on the adjacent Heidelberg stand - stand 7-A01

According to the comapny, Precision pallets are designed to meet the requirements of printers and they are available for use with the Heidelberg Speedmaster CD74 and XL 105 presses.

Jeco believes that the pallets are expected to change how printers move and store printed products.

The pallets incorporate a steel runner that is claimed to reinforce the pallet, maintain dimensional stability and ensure long life.

The pallets are said to permit carrying greater loads and stacking to greater heights than is possible with other pallets.

Precision pallets are rotationally moulded of linear low density polyethylene to provide impact resistance and rigidity, whilst the design permits forklift access from any side, added the company.

Jeco Plastic Products chief executive officer, Craig Carson, commented: "Our new line of Precision pallets is unique in the industry.

Unlike conventional plastic pallets, these sturdy pallets are internally reinforced with steel runners, using sophisticated moulding techniques not available from any other manufacturer.

We expect to follow this introduction with pallets for most modern presses in standard formats.".
