3-Year Deal Extension Caters For
Polestar's Waste
After six years of recycling Polestar UK's waste, UK print waste management company, J and G Environmental has won a further three-year contract.
J and G Envirionmental said that the new deal reflects Polestar's satisfaction with the consistently professional, responsible and proactive approach it has shown J and G collects and processes all general print waste, including litho plates and used chemicals, from all the Polestar Group's sites, including the Sheffield gravure printing facility
The Blandford-based environmental firm either recycles or treats all printers' waste to minimise any landfill residues.
Karen Hardy, Polestar's group purchasing manager, said: "Minimising environmental impact is very important to us and when feedback from all our sites using J and G clearly showed a high level of satisfaction with the service provided, so we had no hesitation in renewing the contract for a further three years.".
