"We felt that our customers were forced to do business backwards - having enormous fixed costs and then trying to find revenue to cover those costs - rather than letting an increase in revenue drive their expenditures," said Jeffrey Bender, President of JJ Bender.
Under the new Either/Or Program, a cost per copy is the most popular way to receive equipment.
The Xerox production equipment in JJ Bender's inventory can be delivered and installed at no cost; customers only pay for the copies they make.
This latest initiative from JJ Bender is meant to provide a competitive alternative to end users who have been outsourcing their black-and-white or color copying.
For example, customers that are currently printing all their black-and-white copies on a Xerox iGen 3 can now gain a cost per copy contract on a Xerox DocuTech or Kodak Digimaster, creating a less extensive and more efficient production process.
Customers have access to the latest digital equipment, including Xerox DocuColor 12s, 2045s, 2060s, and Xerox DocuTech 6100s to 6180s without needing to commit upfront resources.
"The Either/Or Program offers our customers the freedom to expand their business at their pace," stated Mr Bender.
"The program allows our customers to avoid such problems as the Thursday afternoon rush and busy periods where their volume overpasses their own capabilities".
