Blackburn's Sales
New John Blackburn group sales and marketing director Gurdev Singh is working on a business improvement strategy to drive up sales and margins.
New John Blackburn group sales and marketing director Gurdev Singh is working on a business improvement strategy to drive up sales and margins after the company announced a 4% drop in sales in the year to March 2003 That compared to the previous year's £26.8m
The company also made a loss before tax of £5,349, compared to 2002's profit of £141,755.
Singh took up his position, and a, it is believed, a stake in the direct mail operation in January following his departure after eight years from Communisis Chorleys and a leave period.
He was sales director at the company.
Another key figure from the direct mail industry, former K2 business development director Keith Tyler will also join Leeds-based Blackburn in a similar role in March.
