Katun Performance toner cartridge for use in Konica Minolta Bizhub 200 and 250 digital copier-printers is now available.
Whilst Katun currently offers a toner that fits and functions in both the IR 2270 and IR 3570 series, the new toner provides improved copy quality and image density when used in the specific higher speed applications.
The company said that the new exclusive formula improves the toner's image density performance when installed in to machines with new developer units.
The enhanced Katun Performance toner has been developed and tested to match OEM toner attributes in image density, as well as backgrounding, print yields and toner adhesion, it is claimed.
Katun operates its own, 90,000-square-foot research and development annexe, in which technicians are said to ensure that the company's products provide performance, reliability and compatibility with OEM products.
The company added that it tests its products against their OEM equivalent using a series of scientific tests of toner performance.
