KBA Strengthens American Newspaper Press Presence
Citing the press's high degree of technological flexibility, Wisconsin (USA) Bliss Communications has selected a KBA Comet.
"Our theme will really encompass many aspects of our company," said Ralf Sammeck, president and chief executive officer of KBA North America.
"In terms of size we have the widest range of presses in our industry from 20 inches to 81 inches and as for speed we have the fastest and most automated presses.
When we consider strength, that comes from our employees and over 190 years of experience," he added.
KBA added that is the only press manufacturer to have won the GATF Intertech award two years in a row for a complete printing press.
In 2005 KBA won for the Rapida 205 81" press and this year the company won for the Genius 52 UV, claimed to be the world's first waterless UV sheetfed offset press.
