K2 Strengthens Team With New Managers

K2 has reinforced its continued growth with three new signings Ann McLaughlin, Kate Linsley, and Simon Verdon.

K2 has reinforced its continued growth with three new signings Ann McLaughlin, Kate Linsley, and Simon Verdon Ann McLaughlin joins the team at the company's headquarters in east Manchester (UK)as sales director for Link2, the one-to-one communication arm of the business

She will have responsibility for expanding the company's event driven communication (EDC) system and multi-channel communications systems, including contact centre, email, SMS and web chat.

McLaughlin has experience of working across a variety of industries, including outsourcing, IT, digital media and the aerospace industry and has joined K2 from the UK's largest bjusiness process outsourcing company, Capita Group.

There she held a number of roles, latterly as business development director for Capita Contact and Document Services.

K2 is also welcoming new group project manager, Kate Linsley.

She has five years of project management experience gained within various departments at General Electric at locations across Europe and America.

In her new role, Linsley will be responsible for overseeing all projects within K2.

It is a new role, which has been created in recognition of the increasingly complex assignments the company is undertaking, which are business critical rather than traditional direct mail, added K2.

Simon Verdon takes on the role of business development manager and will focus on the newly established sales team for Link2.

He has 12 years of experience within contact centre and operations management in a sales and service environment.

Kevan Coleman, chairman of K2 Group, commented: "We are currently in a period of rapid growth and we are presently consolidating our positioning in direct mail, whilst introducing new event-driven services and one-to-one personalised forms of communication.

Our expertise in this field means it is crucial that we have a team in place with the experience and skills to fully develop the opportunities these innovations represent." He added: "All three of our new recruits have a wealth of experience in their given roles and within the industry and we know that with them in place we will continue to grow from strength to strength.".
