The 3 Series KDO flexo press is equipped with three die stations, UV lamination and cold foil kit.
It will also feature K2's Fast Action anilox roller and print cylinder system.
The new machine will be the second KDO press purchased by Rational Labelling and Marking Systems, which not only provides label printing services but also sells label print and apply machines, inkjets and associated equipment.
Rational's managing director Yan Malkoutzis, said: "Our decision to purchase another KDO press was based on the excellent reliability of the existing machine, the outstanding capability of the latest model, and the very good working relationship with K2.
Whilst we considered alternative machines from other manufacturers, the KDO press was the most appropriate for our requirements and we have had no problems with the current KDO machine, which has been in use at our factory for the last five years." It is the latest in a series of new business wins secured by K2 International in recent months.
The company has produced its biggest-ever 10-colour narrow web press for a factory in India and supplied machines to customers in Europe and the Far East, it added.
