Kodak Appoints Managing Director For GCG EAMER
Kodak's Graphic Communications Group announced the appointment of Bertrand Decoux as Regional Managing Director and Vice President GCG, Europe, Africa and Middle East Region.
His new role will be effective from 1st January 2008 and he will be based at Kodak's EAMER headquarters in Waterloo, Belgium.
Currently Regional Business General Manager and Vice President, Entertainment Imaging (EI), EAMER, Decoux will now be responsible for managing and overseeing the GCG and will report directly to Andrew Copley, Chief Operating Officer, Kodak's GCG and Vice President Eastman Kodak Company.
A transition period will commence immediately, during which time Decoux will continue to serve in his current role where he is responsible for running all EI product and services businesses in the region, with direct operations in each country, as well as working closely with the GCG team in order to be completely up to speed by the start of 2008.
As GCG Managing Director for EAMER, Decoux will be responsible for the overall GCG business and financial performance within the Region.
He will lead all of the day-to-day operations, including sales and marketing of the entire GCG portfolio, customer service, equipment service, product support, and supply chain management.
"Decoux has an in depth knowledge of Kodak and also of the EAMER region that will be extremely beneficial going forward," said Copley.
"Kodak has achieved a lot in EAMER since the formation of the GCG, and the addition of Decoux with his experience will prove invaluable to the team and allow us to grow even further".
Decoux joins GCG following 19 years of successful experience in a variety of management roles within Kodak, including finance, manufacturing, strategic planning and global product management.
In addition to his diverse background, he brings extensive business-to-business sales and marketing experience.
Decoux is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique - France.
