Hancock Heads Business Development For KMBA

Nick Hancock has been appointed business development manager for the Production Printing Division of Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK).

Nick Hancock has been appointed business development manager for the Production Printing Division of Konica Minolta Business Solutions (KMBS).

In his new role Hancock will manage the after sales support team for Konica Minolta Bizhub PRO digital production print systems and will report to Jos Kelly, the head of production printing.

Hancock has 20 years experience in the high volume digital print industry, predominantly with Xerox and Kodak.

Prior to joining Konica Minolta he spent six years at Danka UK as the national account manager with responsibility for large framework contracts.

Commenting on Hancock's appointment, Jos Kelly said: "Having worked closely in the past with Nick I know his account management and customer support skills will be invaluable as we ramp up the Production Printing Division.

We have ambitious growth plans for the division and Nick's proven abilities heading our customer support team will play an important part in realising our plans." Konica Minolta launched the Bizhub PRO 1050 production print system with a claimed maximum throughput of 6,300 impressions an hour (105 prints per minute).

Further production print systems are scheduled for launch in 2005.
