Konica Minolta will demonstrate its Bizhub Pro C65hc colour digital press with the new High Chroma toner at Packtech 2010.

Claimed to be able to print at 65 colour or mono pages a minute, the Bizhub Pro C65hc uses Konica Minolta's High Chroma toner to produce print results that replicate the colour palate of an RGB monitor using CMYK print process.

High Chroma has been developed to meet the graphic-design needs of the packaging market.

As almost all graphic design now takes place on a computer monitor, designers see vibrant colours on their monitor and want to replicate those colours in print.

High Chroma is said to meet this challenge by producing print that reflects output similar to that of an RGB colour device, but using the CMYK print process.

The Bizhub Pro C65hc is being demonstrated with the Printgroove Pod Suite.

Developed to manage the entire digital production print process from job submission and shipping to invoice generation, Printgroove is said to link the various print systems.
