Drupa 2004 marks the debut of the 10-colour five/five reversible perfector press from Komori - the Lithrone 26/28.

Drupa 2004 marks the debut of the 10-colour five/five reversible perfector press from Komori - the Lithrone 26/28.

Re-designed to a higher standard for today's needs, the new Lithrone 26/28 Series now has extra automation options.

The 28P utilises Komori's new three-cylinder sheet-reversing mechanism for consistent and precise reversing on all stock types and thicknesses at maximum printing speeds.

Equipped with Komori's latest PQC control technology, including the KMS management system and KHS de-inking and pre-inking, the press is claimed to achieve full job changeover, including changing 10 plates, in less than 10 minutes.

It is also said by Komori to reduce the use of printing materials through enhanced efficiency and an improved Komorimatic for lower emissions.
