4-colour B2 press accelerates job turn-rounds
Following its relocation to a new facility in Abingdon (UK) Leachprint has installed its first four-colour press in the form of a B2 Lithrone S429 with in-line coater from Komori.
"The increasing need to perfect has led to a significant rise in interest in these two presses.
The compact Spica is aimed at those entering the high-quality four-colour market for the first time, or those moving up from B3 to B2 and the Lithrone L1028P reflects the trend towards longer multi-unit sheet-fed presses in all format sizes," said Komori UK head of marketing Philip Dunn.
The presses will be complemented by a Screen Platerite 8800 CTP system, located in Komori's pre-press suite.
The system will produce plates for all the demonstrations, which will be held at 10am and 12pm each day.
In order to create a totally CIP3/4 working environment, the presses will also be integrated with MIS software.
"We want people to have the opportunity to witness these machines in action and in order to demonstrate a press today, it is extremely beneficial to show entire production cycles, from the receipt of digital job bags to the final printed product" added Dunn.
The showroom will be open from 9.00am -3.30pm on each day of the open house. Request a free brochure from Komori UK ...
