New Factory

5-Colour Lithrone Meets Fast Turn-Round Demand
Eastbourne-based Manor Creative has now commissioned a Komori five-colour Lithrone S40.
"We looked at six major press manufacturers and Komori was the only company that was interested in our specific needs as a business.
Komori was not only helpful and professional but very honest in its dealings and its explanations of the Lithrone options showed that a 26" press was the most suitable for our needs," said Bate.
"The Lithrone L526C, which applies UV inks and coating, has been perfect.
The installation and training went very smoothly and we were in full production only five days after commissioning.
The quality of print has been second to none and even on 0.5 micron PVC we're achieving constant high production speeds," he added.
Card Printing Services sources its pre-press requirements locally but has installed die cutting and other equipment in order to handle finishing in-house.
The company specialises in runs between 1,000 and 20,000 but intends to move in to other specialist areas in the near future.
"We had customers already lined up with an continuing need for printing on PVC, so the new Lithrone L526C has been busy ever since it was commissioned.
Having had some in-depth conversations with existing Lithrone users and Komori itself, we were confident about choosing the press and it has certainly lived up to all our expectations.
The Lithrone 526C has been very straight forward to operate and Komori has been extremely helpful throughout, providing immediate answers when we have had queries.
We're only a small company so it's important that we get good after-sales care from our suppliers.
