Two Komori Presses To Increase Quality And Service
Two new Komori presses, a 10-colour Lithrone S29H Perfector and a five-colour Lithrone S29H, will help Matthews the Printers increase client service and quality when they are installed this summer.
The new B1 press has been installed to aid the growth of the company and more specifically to provide a service for the increasing number of customers looking for six-colour work, combined with faster turn-arounds.
Frank Hanna, sales and marketing manager at Highlight Digital, said: "The majority of our customers are either advertising agencies or design consultancies, therefore, there is a strong demand for high quality, five and six-colour work.
This new press has opened up significant opportunities from both existing and new clients and we are receiving a number of six-colour specific jobs now." The Komori press has replaced one of the company's two B2 five-colour Lithrones.

Komori Presses Win Emission Testing Approval
Komori has been awarded three BG CE Emission Tested certificates by The Berufsgenossenschaft Druck und Papierverarbeitung at Drupa 2008.
Having reached capacity on those presses, Highlight needed a larger machine to be able to respond to the demand for more spot colours.
Investing in the six-colour L640+C not only made economical sense but was also a natural progression for Highlight as it continued to grow and look to enter new markets.
Hanna added: "We are now significantly more productive due to our latest investment and we are able to produce one to two more jobs each day as a result.
The flexibility of the Lithrone has been very impressive and so far we have been running stock ranging from 50gsm paper to 1mm grey board on run lengths from as few as 50 up to 1.3 million.
We are renowned for turning work around extremely quickly and our customers rely on this service.
With our Komori presses, we have practically become a drive-through print house and that is why we are the first port of call for clients needing jobs turned around immediately.
"The reason we invested in another Lithrone was primarily down to our confidence in the reliability and quality of Komori's presses.
We have also been consistently pleased with the professional service we have received over the years.
Looking to the future, we expect to have a very long-standing relationship with Komori as we continue to develop the business." Highlight will be 18 years old this year and employs 45 staff.
The privately owned company produces a variety work ranging from business cards to brochures and its clients are predominantly based in the north west of England.
The newly refurbished factory also includes digital print facilities, CTP and an expanded bindery department. Request a free brochure from Komori UK ...
