Family firm upgrades its Komori Lithrone 628

Hart-Talbot, a family-owned commercial printing company, has upgraded its four-colour Lithrone 26 to a new six-colour Lithrone 28, responding to an increase in demand for more colour printing work.

The decision to upgrade to a new press was made in conjunction with a recent shift to a purpose-built new site located in Haverhill, Essex.

Hart-Talbot also upgraded its Muller Martini Minuteman stitcher trimmer to a Muller 321 at the same time.

Ken Wood, managing director of Hart-Talbot commented: ?The decision to choose a Komori press was made before we started building the new site and was based on Komori UK's past service performance.

We have always found Komori personnel to be highly knowledgeable and helpful.

The installation of the new Lithrone 628 has provided us with increased productivity and further flexibility as we are able to run jobs either four-or five-colour and seal, and provide a quicker turnaround for our customers.? Today, the company offers design, litho and digital printing and finishing for a range of high profile and local clients.

In addition to the new Komori 628 and the new Muller 321, the company also operates four single- and two-colour Heidelberg presses and an Indigo digital press, together with a full range of repro equipment.
