Print Innovations Workshop 07 Unveils All Stars

A Komori UK product story
Edited by the Printingtalk editorial team Sep 25, 2007

Komori UK, together with its Workshop partners, Print Finance and Friedheim International, has finalised the line up for the 2007 event to be held at the Komori Showroom in Leeds

Between October 9 -11, 2007 printers, finishers and print buyers will be able to witness a larger and more diverse range of pre-press, presses and finishing equipment than ever before.

The Print Innovations Workshop 07 event has grown in magnitude since its conception in 2005 and October welcomes a host of new industry leading partners.

For the first time Komori will open its doors to digital press manufacturers, and Oce, Screen and Konica Minolta will be demonstrating digital presses alongside a ten colour Lithrone S29 and a six colour Lithrone S40 + Coater.

Neil Sutton, managing director of Komori UK, comments: "As a lithographic press manufacturer Komori fully appreciates that digital print can work hand in hand with litho".

"Many of our customers utilise both types of technology to meet different demands, and for this reason we have decided to introduce digital suppliers to stay true to the Workshop philosophy of showing printers all the options available".

Workshop was set up by print, finishing and finance specialists in order to show the industry that different manufacturers' equipment can communicate to meet individual demands at each stage of the production process.

The first event was groundbreaking in demonstrating live JDF and last year visitors were invited to a financial review and offered practical advice on reducing the cost of ownership.

This year's theme is Facing the Future, and the access to independent information, exclusive product launches and live workflow demonstrations is invaluable to anyone involved in pre-press, print, finishing or print buying.

New partners for 2007 include Renz, Duplo, Konica Minolta, Kama UK, Oce, ML System and Mosca and this means the event has doubled in size.
