Ko-Pack International will use Drupa 2004 to show its Euroflex 250 Artificial Casing Press, which is its latest specialist rotary machine.

The 12-colour flexo press has been designed for non-stop printing of polyamide food casing at speeds of up to 150 metres per minute.

With 12 print units located on two temperature controlled central impression drums, printing with six colours each on the face and reverse of the casing will be demonstrated.

Three automatic web guide systems, coupled with a fully automatic servo controlled web tension system, will ensure effective web handling.

Other features include AC servo driven unwind and rewind shafts and semi-automatic accumulators on the unwind and rewind for continuous production.

Configured for UV curing, the Euroflex uses specially formulated F.D.A.

approved cationic inks.

The press is also available with a 400mm web width, and can additionally be configured for label production.
