Since Pemco, a company in the Körber Paperlink Group, acquired the sheet converting machinery division of Strachan Henshaw Machinery (SHM) in the year 2000, the product range has been subject to an extensive program of modernisation.
Since this time, already 600 machines from the SHM series have been sold world-wide.
The SHM 1450 cuts sheets ranging from 295 mm to 1500 mm in length, with an accuracy of ±0.5mm.
The maximum stack height and weight is 1700 mm and 2000 kg respectively.
Customers, which range from independent paper and card processors to printers, smaller paper mills and companies using this versatile sheeter to cut synthetic paper (BOPP) and films, particularly appreciate the fact that the SHM 1450 can be individually tailored to their own specific requirements.
The SHM 1450 is an excellent example of how Körber PaperLink exploits the synergy effects of different companies affiliated under one roof.
