It is claimed to be capable of delivering quick and reliable creasing at around half the cost of the current auto feed models on the market.
The machine uses a matrix style crease, which is said to prevent toner and ink cracking when folding digitally printed cards.
Up to 2000 sheets an hour can be stream-fed by hand said KAS.
The company said that operation is simple with the sheet advanced from the feeder tray to the input rollers, when the machine takes over.
The operator can programme up to four creases per sheet on card from A5 to SRA3 and six-page A4.
Up to five regular creasing jobs can be programmed in the memory function, which is fitted as standard.
The crease positions can be edited should the layout of the job change.
The Crease Matic is a floor standing model with a footprint of 100cm x 50cm.
When not in use, it can be wheeled away.
For maximum operator convenience, the loading height is 88cm claimed the company.
It is being distributed in the UK by Ashgate Automation and will be officially launched at Digital Print World on Stand G4.
It will be offered to the UK market at ?3,995+VAT.
