The latest installation of a KBA 74 Karat, the first in the UK to be equipped with inline coating, is at East Central One Media, a London repro specialist company which is part of the Adplates Group and which operates within the heart of the demanding London advertising agency scene The 74 Karat represents East Central Oneïs first venture into printing but, said managing director Alan Harbison: "This is a printing press made for a repro company." If a 74 Karat is taking a leading repro house into print it is a 46 Karat that is spearheading a drive by a specialist typesetter further into the colour printing market
