KBA has secured an order for a second 16-pp Compacta 215 commercial web press for the Chinese city of Guangzhou north west of Hong Kong.
KBA has secured an order for a second 16-pp Compacta 215 commercial web press for the Chinese city of Guangzhou north west of Hong Kong The Compacta 215 has an individual drive, minigaps and an automatically adjustable gripper folder, the Compacta 215 is one of the most modern presses on the market
It is claimed to achieve a speed of 55,000 revolutions per hour and has a cylinder circumference of 620mm (24.4") with a maximum web width of 1,000mm (36.4").
The Guangzhou Daily Group currently has a staff of 5,800 people and outputs 137,000 tonnes of printed matter per year, with its Guangzhou Daily newspaper reaching 1.65 million people each day.
