MMP Commissions Its Highest Spec Press
Mayr-Melnhof Packaging (MMP) has commissioned one of the highest specification sheetfed printing presses ever to be installed across its entire 10 country operation.
Mayr-Melnhof Packaging (MMP), Europe's largest manufacturer of printed folded cartons, has commissioned one of the highest specification sheetfed printing presses ever to be installed across its entire 10 country operation, according to German press manufacturer KBA The new generation large format KBA Rapida 142 seven-colour machine, a UV and conventional combination press, has been tailored to MMP's exacting requirements, said KBA
MMP has installations in Austria, Germany, UK, France Poland, Russia, Hungary, Romania and the Ukraine, employs over 4,500 people and has a turnover of 750 million Euros.
In the UK its two plants are located at Deeside and Liverpool.
KBA has 600 installations round the world of the Rapida 142, including packaging operations, commercial printing, posters, point of sale, maps and book production. Request a free brochure from KBA ...
