Amongst the titles is a daily newspaper, the Evening Leader, published in three editions Monday to Friday, three paid weeklies including the Powys County Times, with the remainder being free distribution weeklies, amongst them the Chester Standard, North Wales Chronicle, Wrexham Leader and North Wales Pioneer.
The Commander press for North Wales Newspapers will have a cylinder circumference of 1,156mm (45.5") and a standard maximum web width of 1,520mm (59.75"), though provision has been made to expand the options to 1,475mm (58"), 1,500mm (59") and 1,575mm (62").
The press will be configured with four H towers, four KBA Pastomat RC reelstands fed by a KBA Patras A automatic reel logistics system, complete with stripping station, two KBA KF 5 jaw folders, three ABB console and a diagnostics PC.
In addition to an MPS Production job scheduling and press preset system, automation modules include MPS Inform, Rolltrack and Maintenance.
The towers will feature KBA's automatically adjustable Rollertronic roller locks.
